Welcome to ORU Missions and Outreach!
Program Pillars
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
The heart of our office is to develop students to become mature believers who love Jesus long after their outreach experience or short-term mission trip. Whether serving those in need in our Tulsa community or flying halfway around the world to another country, our students receive leadership training with real-world ministry preparation and opportunities, gain cultural appreciation and understanding, and become more rooted in the secret place with Jesus.
CONTACT INVESTMENT
We seek strategic partnerships with men, women, and ministries who are doing long-term Kingdom work in Tulsa and all around the world. As we are a short-term investment, we believe in coming alongside contacts and lifting up their arms. We want to be refreshing and encouraging as we partner together for the work that will remain and continue long after our teams leave.
FIELD IMPACT
Jesus' heart beats for people, and so does ours! We want to see the nations impacted with the glory of God, communities come to know Jesus, and individuals have encounters with the Holy Spirit. The harvest is ripe to reach people contextually with the Gospel while operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, and lives are transformed when they encounter the presence of Jesus. We want to see what God is already doing in the nations and be part of His ongoing work.
