Each country’s immunization and medication requirements and recommendations area based on Travelers’ Health from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the recommendations of our contacts. These requirements and recommendations are subject to change based on outbreaks, government mandates, etc.
Students are personally responsible for making medical decisions regarding vaccinations and are encouraged to evaluate their own needs and risks. Students are financially responsible for the cost of their immunizations or medications; the cost of immunizations or medication are not included in the trip price. We monitor outbreak situations, and vaccine requirements and recommendations could change at any time based on what is happening in the world.
ORU Missions strongly recommends that all students are up to date on routine vaccines, including: polio, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, and Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR).
Routine vaccines + Typhoid are recommended for El Salvador. -
